so how should we throw ourselves out into the fluid open when inevitably the soft white can never hold the burning not the pleasure, nor the caugh fast teeth, armpits, tongues - collapsing right back onto the naked and the brave like snakes crowded in the rain

i´m just waiting for my feet to dry really just waiting for someone to stop the water and …

jungleness 03:54
it´s a big mess waiting for the heat to pass yet i set forests on fire i lose hours or less when watching everything burn and i don't give a fuck being senseless, hostile, empty without a form, i find pure and shameless joy in destroying the green the fake roots, plastic pines i´m a a girl from saturn pouring over my weight to something that used to hurt now frozen to feathers, white hardly safe but terribly light - i float and bite as savage female pharaohs do before arriving to the moon my limbs shake and i no more fight no, i do no more to fight the jungleness of my heart as the last bits of my ancestral mind escape everything gets erased into dark matter, as such and for moments i find peace in my blank remains but only until my body sweats into an old consciousness and then it starts all over again

layers of my face forced to fade but relax the eyebrows in grace that would too easily reveal everything my mouth needs - a gift you don't realize until too dry the middle of your palm paper is moving on the surface rubbing the place desperately that used to be my breast and the warm body parts are only a memory now too regular the beating of my heart
5.
it´s not this or that i´m just not holding back not holding back because all and everything started controlling it it´s flowing it´s already happening it´s not this or that it´s flowing simplicity of our very existence i´m just not holding back the power of constant movement it´s already happening because all and everything already happening before we have even started controlling it it´s already happening everything everything you tell me i´m unstoppable it´s not that before we have even started controlling it you tell it´s not flowing because it´s this or that it´s flowing because i let it flow it´s flowing is already happning it´s not this or that it´s flowing it´s not this or that you tell me i´m unstoppable it´s flowing you tell me i´m it´s not this or that because all and everything is already happening

WAITING FOR MY FEET TO DRY (2021)
- a poetry installation

These are the tracks from the same-titled immersive multi-channel audiovisual installation exploring urban and private intimacy through video miniatures and poetic texts of Thea Soti. The images, shot in the abandoned streets of Paris during the confinement, reflect on an existential anxiety of being part of something that is happening around us, without being able to actively control it or participate in it. In collaboration with director and film maker Luzie Loose, Thea Soti collects poetic images and urban scenes to match her words about her personal transformation during this time, re-interpreting the meaning of isolation, sense of self and intimacy. Becoming only the observer of life, stuck in time and repetitive behaviours, the installation presents 9 individual screens running as continuous loops in contemporaneity. The visual material is displayed on a combination of different sized screens varying from projection surfaces up to tiny smartphone screens. The loops function as micro durational pieces, short-time repetitions and are accompanied by a 14-minute audio installation created exclusively by the voice of the artist. The electronic composition is based on shifting poetic structures, minimalistic digital interventions and manipulations of words, challenging our memory, playing with multiple voices, resampling and repeating words and melodies.
